CAIRO – December 5, 2021: Over the past week, ministers, officials and official delegations from a number of countries visited the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat to enjoy the unique artifacts housed in the museum , in particular the royal mummies, which were carried in a solemn procession last April from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir.
The museum received delegations from about 42 countries participating in the Egyptian International Exhibition of Military and Defense Industries “EDEX 2021”. In addition, an African delegation of different nationalities visited the museum as part of their current visit to Egypt to participate in the meetings of the second session of the Egyptian-African Training Center in the field of telecommunications regulation.

These delegations were received by Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat, who welcomed them and gave them an overview of the museum and its prestigious collections. Museum curators took delegations on a tour that included the Central Exhibition Hall and the Hall of Royal Mummies.
During their visit, the delegations expressed their joy at visiting the museum, describing it as a huge and impressive edifice with distinct and unique archaeological treasures.
