Dimitra Galani in the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens ATHENS 9.84

Dimitra Galani presents on September 16 at the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens a tribute to the love song, a journey through time and the world.

A musical wandering with erotic discourse through songs that we adored. Having carried out or participated in very important projects in recent years (Chronos, Hommage à Xarchakos à Vamvakaris, performances with the Vassilis Tsitsanis Orchestra), Dimitra Galani presented with great success in 2020 (at the concert halls of Athens and Thessaloniki ) a performance with “another” mood, more pop, more electric and clearly more “transnational”.

Working with the great artist-musicians of the young generation who constitute the group with which Dimitra Galani has shared the stage for twelve years, creates a purely erotic and itinerant musical framework, a game of sensations and senses. This company will therefore surprise us once again with unexpected arrangements taking a new approach to older material and highlighting some of the most beautiful love songs from each era in the Greek and world repertoire.

With her two younger generation singer-songwriters, award-winning Greek-Brazilian composer and songwriter Katerina Polemi and talented composer Efstathios Drakos, with whom Dimitra Galani creates a wonderful erotic “dialogue” between songs which are timeless international standards (Brazilian, Italian, English, French and mainly Greek) and which speak directly to our heart, body, mind, senses: erotic and pop – in the broadest sense of the word.

Special participation: songwriter and performer Pavlina Voulgaraki and young beginner singer Dimitris Kopsis.

The program of the show was edited by Dimitra Galani and radio producer Margarita Mytilineou.
