CIVILIZATION VI SUMMARY OF THE APRIL UPDATE PATCH
The Civilization VI A New Frontier the expansion pass brought a whole new set of content to the game. While many of the biggest content updates came in the form of paid DLC, each always came with a free update that all included. everyone could benefit. The last free update arrives in April. And the Civilization VI The April update is huge. We’ve made this patch summary to help you understand the most significant changes.
NEW UNITS AND MAPS
Three new units are coming Civilization VI. The trebuchet goes from catapult to bombard. He cannot move and attack in the same turn unless he has been promoted to Expert Crew. The Khmer Domrey now replaces this unit.
Man-At-Arms improvements from Swordsman, then Musketman. The Norwegian Berserker, Japanese Samurai, and Georgian Khevsur will now replace this unit.
Finally, the line infantry passes from the musketeer, then to the infantry. The French Imperial Guard and the English Redcoat now replace this unit.
Two new cards are coming Civilization VI, both having a True Start Location version. The large Mediterranean map represents the greater Mediterranean region with resources, land and features reflecting true historic places. Earth Huge Map, on the other hand, presents a larger Earth with resources, terrain, and features reflecting true historic places.
CHANGE OF BALANCE TO CIVILIZATION VI
Various civilizations, mainly vanilla, have received buffs to make them more competitive against newer civilizations. The unit balance has been updated, especially for unit trees. Melee and Siege units have the biggest changes to accommodate the three new units arriving in the April Update. Feudalism now unlocks Samurai, instead of military tactics. Malon Raider now switches to cavalry instead of helicopter. Rough Raider now replaces Cuirassier, switches to Tank instead of Modern Armor, and now needs Ballistics instead of Rifling. The Winged Hussar now replaces the Cuirassier, unlocked with Commercialism instead of Mercenaries. Varu switches to Cuirassier now instead of Tank. Saka mounted archer now transforms into crossbowmen instead of field cannon. U-Boots no longer need oil.
UI CHANGES, BUG FIXES AND CHANGES FOR CIVILIZATION VI: A NEW FRONTIER
Many changes in balance seem to solve the existing problems in A new frontier content. Meanwhile, a lot of bugs crashed in the new April update. Various UI changes are also coming to make life better, and AI has been studied and is now smarter, especially in terms of naval decisions.
