Rohit Bairagi, a councilor in Balchand Pada, Bundi Municipality, was caught while accepting Rs 1.50 lakh from the plaintiff, the spokesperson said.
The plaintiff alleged that he wanted permission to undertake construction work on his house. To achieve this, Bairagi had demanded Rs 1 lakh for himself and another Rs 50,000, saying the money should be paid to the chairman of the municipality.
In Jaipur, a junior assistant from the Rajasthan Nursing Council was arrested while accepting a bribe of Rs 1.90 lakh. The person who gave him the money was also arrested, ACB said.
